Tuesday’s front page features the second installment to a series I’m writing about bike commuting in Stamford. As a bike manager for Danny’s Cycles, my subject, Ken Tashoff, is no stranger to diehard cyclists, although he was far from one when he started. During our interview last week, Tashoff said that the idea of biking from his home in Hastings-on-Hudson came about a year after he started working in Stamford. When he decided to attempt the ride, he used the bus to break the route into a doable length.
